Your answers...

It is fairly easy to replace the "Center Bearing". You will have to remove the exhaust and bring the drive shaft down...it will take some time but not too complicated.(I had the same problem). Nothing was broken when I removed the bearing, if this is your question. There is a clip on the bearing which will disassemble everything, however there is some pressing involved when removing and installing the bearing. You can get these fairly easily at your local auto parts stores. (they are not rare or anything.) BMW dealership sold my for approx $80..hope this helps!

Re: Drive shaft Vibration

That is what some else told me that i would have to remove the exhaust but when i got up under there the exhaust does not look like its in the way it runs along the side of the drive shaft not under it.
Do you mean the drive shaft does not have to be broke dowen that the bearing bracks in half ?

Re: Drive shaft Vibration

If you can remove the drive shaft with out removing the exhaust, your in luck. I assume your car is not totally different from mine. From my car (85' 325e): I had to remove the exhaust and remove the drive shaft. (The center bearing has 2 bolts holding it in place.) After the drive shaft was removed, the center bearing is much easier to work on. There is a clip on the center bearing that allows you to disassemble it. You may have to press it out as you may also have to press it in when installing a new one.
(NOTE: Depending on how your drive shaft is arranged, you may not even have to remove the entire drive shaft, although I would imagine it would be more difficult)

Re: Drive shaft Vibration

i seen the 2 bolts that holds the bearing on and right in front of the bearing is a "Yoke" i thought it could some how break there then the bearing would slide off i think i need to go back under and take another look
