Post 4.0 L B4000

Just bought a 2000 B4000 with 40,000 K on it, in amazing shape. The only thing that I would like to do is get better mileage out of it. I have changed the oil to synthetic, have good rubber with proper inflation in the tires, new spark P's / wires etc....

#1 Will a K&N air filter do anything for me? People seem to think yes.
#2 Has anyone seen this tornado fuel saver I have only heard of one person who used it so far that says it works... anyone else?[url]http://store.yahoo.com/rodi/torfuelsav1.html

Or am I crazy?

Tx for the info.

Toby

Re: 4.0 L B4000

DO NOT BUY THE TORNADO! it does nothing and is a complete waste of money. if it fails/breaks, which i have seen happen, it is after the air filter so there is nothing to catch broken pieces except the engine.

as for a k&n, a drop in filter may or may not help but its better than the paper filter. its best to get an FIPK or cone filter to get the biggest improvement.
