Re: What is the Difference between an SH and a V-tech engine?

The prelude SH has a VTEC engine, not VTECH.

The SH is just the model of the prelude, and the engine is an H22 VTEC. 2.2 liter DOHC VTEC.

So there is no such thing as an SH engine, or a VTECH engine. The prelude SH has a VTEC engine.

Re: What is the Difference between an SH and a V-tech engine?

Its a difference in tranny/suspension. SH has ATTS - active torque transfer system. It transfers torque to the outside wheel during cornering.

Buy SH specific parts, or you will have fitment problems like headers and exhaust. Also, don't expect to run too much boost, unless you don't mind the loss of ATTS. It disables itself at high horsepower.
