problem with 2000 4motion electrics

Hello everyone, i live in England and have a 4 year old V6 4motion. The problem I have is that the electric windows and sunroof do not work. The boot will not open and the central locking does not work remotely. Also none of the interior lights come on when you open the doors. The windows will come down if you hold the key over to the unlock side for a couple of seconds and will go back up if you lock the doors with the key. My local VW dealer will not give me an indication of what the problem could be until they see the car and i do not want to let them have the car for days and charge me a fortune for something that could be fixed maybe quite easily. Any help would be really welcomed.
