Thumbs down Rear suspension damage HELP!

I slapped the curb in a 1996 Camaro, And know have approx. 1/4 inch play between wheel and body. When you push the car from left to right in the rear. It makes a clunking noise. I can see that one of the panhard rod bushing has been missing, but there is a noise where the shock tower is. Could it be broken? Any suggestion would be helpful.

Re: Rear suspension damage HELP!

the panhard rod is what keeps the rear-axle centered on the body so thats probably one of your sources of movement. did you check the lug studs, you might have busted some of those. also, rip apart the interior in the hatch and see if you did any damage to the shock mount on the rear tower...
