Thumbs down 1997 Rad. Fans stopped working!HELP!

Hello, The fans on my Town and Country stopped working. When I came home the fans would not shut off. I disconnected the battery after waiting ten minutes. The next morning after driving the fans would not come on. Tried with the AC and nothing. Checked the 40 amp orange fuse and is ok. Should there be a relay for this circuit? Could I have damaged the computer when I disconnected the battery? Does the computer flow around 40 amps for this circuit or is there an unknown relay?

Thank you for your help.

It sounds like you need a new fan control relay. I replaced mine just two days ago. It's on the inside of the fender on the driver's side. The best way to access it is to remove the air intake and air filter box; you can then easily see the relay, which is a flat square thing about 2 inches square. You will need a 10mm and 8mm socket and a flat-blade screwdriver.

Replace the radiator fan relay located under the air filter box , you can see it from underneath . There was a recall on these from this era they had so many problems with them . Couple of screws hold it on .
