I have a short, when i use my windsheild wipers it cuts off my engine. Any one have a clue where i could start at? |

wow...... thats a new one on me. only thing i can think of is trace the wiring harness from the windsheild wipers till you find a rubthrough of some sort. say an exposed bolt, sharp metal edge, something like that.

pull the fuse
Your problem is a short in a relay or motor or the switch itself maybe wires.Pulling the fuse for wiper circuit will isolate the problem and allow you to operate your vehicle. Then its a matter of chasing down the short.I'm pretty sure the wipers have a relay involved.

I know I accidentally grounded a friends deck to the ECM once.. the car started doin all kindsa weird shit.. Ide say start at the wiper motor and trace the wires back.. Check the grommet where they enter the firewall, sometimes the rubber grommet gets pushed out or rubbed away and the wires cut into the firewall edge
