1/9 Ducati Desmosedici GP3

After long time it is time for me to show you my work. It is my favorite bike Ducati (looking at my avatar who would say it was so ) with Moto GP machine Desmosedici, maker is Italeri, scale is 1/9, overall look is good no major fitment problems. Details are OK only con is to "light" plastic (i don't know how to describe the filling) but it is not Tamiya. I have test fitted the parts, nothing is still fixed just prepared for painting.

And here are few images for you to see the size of this "monster" with Testors colour botlle and regular Tamiya 1/12 bike

Progress will folow soon. Enjoy

Thanks guys for all the positive comments .
The engine is in place just with base colour and ithout any details added at this point. All of the fairings are painted, I only had troublle with rear fork as first layer of paint was to glossy and uneven, but I removed it on time without any problems.

Oh one thing about decals, they are perfect, the best one I have ever used.

I have removed molded pipe conectors and made new one from fabric for seat belts and BMF clamps.

Of course fairings are primed and painted with automotive colours.

Sorry for low quality of pictures but this is not my camera. It is an old model and it does crapy pics.
Hope you like it.

That is because first pictures are from last week, and I have two computers and it take me some time to get them (pictures from one to other). And besides my wife and kid are on Hollydays and I am working 7 hours a day on the model , but I must use all the time I have

Almost everything is in place, some minor detailing is required, and no this is not one day work some serius number of hours are spent to get here. Well enough talking.

Sorry for that many pics

thanks Phil, and yes it is nice indeed to have so much free time, but I have inhaled so much paint and glue in past two weeks that I am so dizzy, I bearly stand on my feet .
Anton the CF is from kit, all of the decals are so perfect that Tamiya looks like some "B" production, they could be even better then S27, the best part of the kit for sure.
Thanks guys for your comments
