Blaupunkt am radio
I was just digging around in my box of VW parts and I came across an old Blaupunkt am radio. Is it worth anything? The only numbers I could find on it were: 376329. It does work, I bought it for my 71 super but I got bored of mono and opted for a cd player instead. I also have an Empi shifter. Is it worth anything at all?

Re: Blaupunkt am radio
Please? I'd rather have someone else use it in a car. I just didn't want to throw it away and find out it was rare. It isnt out of a 71 originally i bought it from a friend who had it in an old beetle. We never new what year it was it was a baja and had no registration or vin numbers.

Blaupunk is about as popular in Germany as Motorola is in the U.S. A better radio?....maybe...maybe not. I never thought that they were any better than what you could buy here in the U.S.

I didn't mean to ask if it was better I was just getting a feel for how much i should ask for it cause I wanted to stick it on ebay.

How much is it worth?....To a collector of original equipment, maybe a lot. To anyone else, not much. To me, if I only wanted a good am radio that looked a little strange but worked...maybe 50 bucks.
