Re: woofer vibration question

I haven't had any problems with my 02 and i have 2 12" jl audio w3v2's and a 1400 watt amp (and i put it in with the intent of using all of it). I havn't even heard of anything like that.

Re: woofer vibration question

Well yes there is truth to it but it all depends on what you have I have two JL's 10w0 and a JL amp
and I have loosen many bolts. My car is not as new as yours but I sure in time you will notice a difference the trunks will starts first then the bumper and it goes on from there..
but like I said it all depends on what you have do you have a big brand name sub with a big amp ?

rockford 201S 600W amp with rockford 10" sub.

should i get a capacitor? i don't think the amp's eating up all my juice (my headlights aren't dimming to the bass or anything), but i've had a little trouble starting my car twice today. as far as i know it's still the factory alternator, but i could be wrong (86000km).

Re: woofer vibration question

600W to a 10" wont eat up your juice, so dont worry. Im running 600W to 2 Kicker 12s and the only thing I notice is that my headunit dims a bit when the bass is at full blast. But with a single 10, you should be fine.

KustmAce is right about eating up your juice you will not need to get the capacitor and even if the car has the factory alternator you will still be fine
