'96 EX Transmission

Is it normal for it to shift like a 4 cylinder? A little jerky upshifting through second and third? and sometimes it'll jerk and downshift to second about 25... I figured that was just normal, but wanted to ask to make sure.

When's the last time you got a major tuneup? same was happening with mine, got the tuneup...now it's running pretty smooth again.

Re: '96 EX Transmission

Well my friend works at a shop, so I kinda got a freebie with valve adjustments.

With the tuneup, all he did were pretty basics things, flush my transmission and add new fluids, changed my clutch, and hook me up with a new transmission filter. Your prob could be as simple as flushing the trans. or maybe a new clutch...other than that, I dunno...but good luck.
