A while back, i was reading an article. Someone did a swap in his datsun 510 SR and saying it was 2.2L. The engine was powered by HKS. So is the newest SR engine is 2.2L?

It is a SR20 bored and stroked to 2.2liters. Probably sleeved too.

HKS and Toda, I think Greddy to, make a 2.2 stroker kit for the SR20.
