WHEW! Made it!!
Name's Robb. I hail from Ottawa Ontario Canada (aka the HotAir Capital of Canada).
Currently employed as a contract worker for the federal gov't. I like to fish, where the nick came from. Actually, I've spent most of my life fishing. The rest I just wasted. And that's that for that, eh.
I arrived here to search for a humane way to end the life of my rusted and battered 89 Ford Taurus sedan. What I found was that I wasn't alone. F.O.R.D. still lives up to it's name ever since my grandaddy warned me w/ a back-hand up the side of my head to Stay Away! It's my 3rd, all different, but all PoJs. Ah well, it sorta gets me from here to wherever it decides to break down (which is right at home this time...woo-hoo).
I drag my trusty Haynes manual out, explore the possibilities, and then revert to the ever-present rubber mallet. A few whacks here, a coupla bangs there, one or 2 for luck on a thumb......... and I'm ready to look for help.
After reading many posts, I got this feeling that I may just get this one fixed w/o getting my Dr.D's streaked.
Good to be here. Apart from the regular flamers, it looks like there's a good buncha folk 'round here. Gimme something to do during those long winter minths when the fishing gets lousy 'cause the water goes and gets all hard in these parts. Makes it tuff to get a good paddle going in the canoe, let alone tryin' to figger out where the fish are...........................
