I have come to a decision!

I thought about it for a day and i finally decided im going to buy my friends 91 hatch and sell my 91 sedan. He has an apexi midpipe, toucan rearsection, 2 piece cold air intake (not sure what brand), jdm sir taillight centerpiece, momo shiftknob, a system, and also a brand new motor, and a brand new paint job (black with a sparkle). He wont tell me what motor or what he has under the hood until hes ready to sell it though which will be in a month or 2. He had a type-r that he had bought the block online and built it all the way up and said he sold it. So i have no idea what engine he has under there (hope he was lying about selling the type-r and put it in) He also has clear corners and bumper lights, momo shiftknob. He is a total sleeper and used to have a 93 MR2 which he dropped a turbo motor into (and didnt tell anyone til he wrecked it, which was about a month later) and he has access to alot of money and a full garage with a lift. Hes selling the hatch to me for $1500 just becasue he said hes not going to try and get more than kbb value. Im going to try and get at least $1500 for my car and ive already got 2 people interested. I hope everything works out the way i plan for it to.

ok i got confirmation that he doesnt have the type-r engine in it and that the motor isnt vtec either. I may end up buying his hatch anyways but he took all the options out of it for weight reduction so basically its like a dx right now. I think im going to look for a stock si hatch instead of buying his car and start by saving up my money. I hate getting all excited about this shit because i end up feeling like a dumbass in the end.

i love all 4th gens and actually wouldnt mind having a wagon lol. I like wierd cars sorry (especially with 4wd). But i love my 4g4d and with i could keep it and the hatch when i get it but i wont really want to pay insurance and all on 2 cars. I actually intended to buy a hatch in the beginning and thought sedans were ugly until i drove it at the dealership (my dad made me go check it out and test drive it).

I actually thought about rear suicide doors a few times.

Oh yeah my friends hatch has a new windshield and tein lowering springs too with some cheaper aftermarket wheels which would be replaced with rota slipstreams if i could find some.
But i would rather buy a stock hatch and work from there, im gonna keep the cold air intake and coilovers i have on the way and save them for the hatch i buy and sell my sedan as is.
