60mm TB

I have a 60mm T/B from modernperformance installed right now, but i never matched my intake manifold to that size....is this necessary to insure proper working order? Are there any adverse affects to leaving it this way? Can I leave it this way?mAlso, does anynone with this mod get a "blowoff" type sound? I heard it happen before, and my friend who did a homemade T/B on his CRX gets this sound. Is that normal?

Re: 60mm TB

The blow off sound is from a blow off valve venting to atmo. Or you can get a litttel speaker.

Re: 60mm TB

Two problems. One, if the TB is 60mm and the manifold opening is not, you have a step that will cause turbulence, which is bad for flow. Two, since the hole is still the same smaller size, there is no gain from the 60mm TB. Which is fine if you just want to add it to your mod list, but not fine if you are trying to make more power.
