Unhappy Vibrating After 65 MPH

I have a 1994 Buick century the model with the 2.2 L ,4 CYL Engine and it seems that everytime I drive on the highway once I hit 65 MPH the car seems to shake a vibrate and its pretty annoying feeling but it only happens after 65 MPH I was wondering if anyone might know what the problem is and the solution to it. Thank you and anyone who can help i would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Vibrating After 65 MPH

Make sure your tires are in balance. You might have lost a weight off one of the wheels. Most vibrations of this type will occur from some rotating mass in the drivetrain.
Another possibility is CV joing going bad. Although I would believe you would hear something or feel changes in the car other than just a vibration in at 65 MPH if it were a CV Joint.

Would rotating the tires help or just getting them weighted and balanced out?

vibration

A loose inner or outer tie rod joint will cause vibration at speeds, and should be checked for asap.

Re: Vibrating After 65 MPH

A warped brake rotor will not usually cause this. Here in good ole Florida everybody has warped rotors due to the rain every afternoon. No one has vibration problems at speed. Just surging when stopping and pain in the wallet from the frequent replacement.

And a bad hub bearing will make a lot of noise.

It might be like mine was. My rear rims were warped and it sounds like yours are too. You better get those checked out because it WILL DESTROY a wheel bearing.
