Catalytic converter question

My catalitic converter took a crap recently along with the rest of the damn exhaust. It appears that there are two converters one behind the other, on my 92 2.9. Does that mean I have to replace it with another dual setup such as this or can I replace it with a single converter. Also what do you all recommend for a converter, or dont it matter? Thanks

Re: Catalytic converter question

You can replace it with an aftermarket single converter, and do so legally.
