CD Changer not working on all disks

We have recently had a problem with our Grand CHerokee 10-disk factory CD changer. At first one or two of the CD's would no longer load. Now about 8 of the 10 do not load. Sometimes one's that worked no longer and vice versa. Any ideas on how to fix and what to look for?

Much thanks Jeep people!

Have had the exact same problem with mine- Already replaced the changer 2 times, and it is already messed up again. I am not replacing it this time. I think these disc changers are pieces of crap. At $350 each they should last a little longer than a year. I installed a pioneer head unit and bought an adapter called a SWI-X that allows you to still use the steering wheel controls. I can get a pioneer 12 disc changer off ebay for less than $150. Haven't got the changer yet but am very happy with the head unit. The pioneer set up is cheaper than replacing the factory changer and should be better quality.
