Hey guys, Im bored at work, and this forum is kinda quiet so I figured I'd post to give 'er a bit of life.
I installed my new KYB GR-2 shocks and Suspension Techniques springs yesterday. And all I can say is DAMN! Man my car is so much more fun to drive now. It feels like my car is on a train track
It took me 5 hours to install them yesterday bcuz of a few $^@#& bolts that we're pissing me off. I also had to make a trip to the hardware store to pickup a new socket set, bcuz I broke mine on the first wheel. lol The socket was over 10 years old so, she was due.
Just a little tip for you other do-it yourselfers... If your socket wrench has a lifetime warrenty, then a trick to get the $T^#% bolts off is to put a bit of liquid wrench and put your socket on the bolt. Put another socket on the other side and rest it against something so it cannot turn when you try and undo the nut. Lastly, get a pipe (I used left-over piping from my fence) and slide it onto the socket wrench. This will act as a lever, and the bolts will come off like nothing. OR, you might brake your 10 year old socket wrench
Go to Crapo Tire (the guys from canada will know) and pickup a Mastercraft set, I got a 150 piece set at half price for 100$
