A/c Control Unit Question
I am a newbie here, and just had a quick question while I am waiting for my F.S.M. s that I just bought off ebay. Anyways, I'll get straigh to the point....My a/c isn't working, and I know that I have read here and everywhere else about the hvac control unit (switch) going bad, ....is it the whole part that goes bad?....or some bad connections that deteriorate inside the unit...what actually goes bad? I mean..if I can save a few bucks by re-doing some bad connections....or replacing a resistor..or something along those lines, I would be more up for that than to spend $150 on a whole control unit...and yes, my unit only works on speeds 3-5 ...like everyone else's....By the way ...How do you fix that...? Tear the dash apart....????? Any help would be greatly appreciated...and if there's something I can help someone with...I will...
I just found this site....and wish I would have found it sooner....Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
