Can't resist that bug!
I was in hobby shop looking for spray and my wife was with me. She saw that Tamiya New Beetle and she said "bought it! bought it for me!"
I couldn't resist (she is big Beetle fan) and now it's here in my table!
The most upset for me is she wants it pink with black stars! Oh, crazy women... and poor man cutting masking tape :o

btw this kit has few details and looking simple and straightforward to build. Great stuff for novice modellers!

That's a weird combo and should never be put on a car, but that's just my opinion

I was against too but that's my wife
She was inspired by star-painted Beetle seen in San Francisco

Chassis finished yesterday. Underbody details hand-painted
Everything looks exactly like in VW Golf kit

Body primed just now. Interior too. I primed interior for the first time in my practice and going to use airbrush on it

I guess it could be built in 3 days!

haha a pink beetle with stars that's cool~
well i am almost same as u ~ i haev to build this BMW M3 Convertible with Pink paint on it~ it's for a girl-----------friend~

Pink with black stars is a ba combo IMO, I would go for bright purple with even brighter yellow stars , and uhm, pics plz...??
