Bottoming out
A while back i had to get my... torque bar? torsion bar? forget what its called replaced. Also had the back right shock replaced, it was bad/squeaking and all that. Ever since, tho, i've heard a metallic sorta rattle goin over most bumbs, and i theres more than 2 other ppl in my car (and if pretty much anyone is in the back right seat) the back right bottoms out on nearly every bump and turn. My mechanic said that that would have to do with the springs. Jus wanted to get an opinion before i possibly spend a lot/my exhaust and intake funds on new suspension.

I would go out and measure from the ground to the wheel well on each sode of the rear and see if they are close and then also compare it to some else who has a similiar year make Camaro. Your car considering the age really should not have a spring problem.

I personally am a big fan or H&R springs but I have also used Eibach and not have complaints

Well did you measure it and compare cause the springs on your Camaro primary and majority job is ride height.

Re: Bottoming out
OK, I measures all around. FL and FR are both 27 inches. RL is 27 3/4 inches, RR is 27 1/2

Re: Bottoming out
when you have a bad shock or strut, aren't you supposed to replace both regardless?

Re: Bottoming out
