Hey i am looking at purchasing my first car in a couple of weeks and i am really liking the 94-95 celicas. I think it would be a decent first car and i hear that it could be modded up to 300hp. i was just wondering if you guys thinks its a wise inestment. I love the look and i am hopping that the car can reach decent power and stuff through modding.
If anyone has info on modding a celica or putting in a turbo it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time |

Re: First car?
If you wanna go 88-93, you can get a Celica All-Trac Turbo, an AWD turbocharged Celica making 200 hp 200 torque, with good aftermarket potential. I wish they had kept making it for the 94-99 generation

Re: First car?
Yeah, they are tough to find. If you can't find one, a turbocharged 94-99 GT would probably work pretty well. I think the 94-99 has a much better body style, too. Love those headlights

Re: First car?
The older Celicas have a pretty decent aftermarket support. The ALL TRAC Celicas were EXTREEEMELY popular back in teh day and they still are. I think Modified Mag just did a buildup on a old all trac so you might want to check out one of their recent issues.
I think its a good route to take...good luck. |
