A/c Problem 2002 Ram
My a/c will just shut off at any time. After a while it may or may not come back on???? This has been going on for a while. I don't think it's low, because when it works it's cold.

Does your compressor shut off or your blower fan shuts off? If it's the compressor, check the connection at the compressor before anything. Make sure it's tight and free from gunk.

The fan will cut off. It seems like there is still cool air seeping out, but no fan.

Check the connection at the blower fan (I'm don't know where it is) could be inside the vehicle passenger side or under the hood. Also check for the blower fan relay. The relay may not be making good contact with current or ground so that's why it might turn on and off.
