99 voyager trans problem

My 99 grand voyager was working fine today until this afternoon. my wife cut it off for a few minutes and then cranked it up to leave and it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear (automatic trans.) and the check engine light came on and the speedometer quit working. any one have any suggestions where to start? the trans. oil level appears to be in the correct range.

I just checked the codes and I got code 23. appears to be throttle body related. does this sound right, and what are some helpful tips on checking and or replacing. I have changed tps's before, but never on a chrysler. do i adjust anything, or just bolt it on? any advice is appreciated.

researched a little more and found out that code 23 is incoming air temp sensor related. where is the best place to find one and is it easy to replace? where is it also? is it in the air filter box?

99 Voyager Trans

Code 23 is "2-4/OD Pressure Switch Circuit"
The Transmission system uses three pressure switches to monitor the fluid pressure in the L-R, 2-4, and OD elements. The pressure switches are continuously monitored-for the correct states in each gear.
This code is set if the 2-4 and OD pressure switches are either open or closed at the wrong time in a given gear. This indicates that both the 2-4 and OD pressure switches indicated the wrong state at the time the fault was set.

For more information, check the factory manual (no information in the Chilton's manual) or subscribe online at: http://www.alldatadiy.com.

thanks for the reply. I just got the van back today. I took it to a shop monday and they said it was the output speed sensor. they replaced it and all is well. i guess the codes aren't always right. on the minimopar site and other chrysler sites, they said that code 23 was the IAT or incoming air thermistat, but it wasn't that either. oh well, it only wound up being around 100.00 which is minor. thanks for your help. I am sure I will be asking for more later if I keep the van.
