Timing Belt loose...Help!

The other day i notice my car making a weird niose i poped upen the trunk and noticed it coming from the timing belt area. i took the top timing belt cover off and to look at the belt. The belt on the left side is all loose and on the right side is tight. What could of happened here!? Whys it like that, what should i do??

i think my tensioner broke..Otherwise how would it unlossen itself

Loose bolt somewhere? I just suggest you figure it out before you drive it.

you should have a tensioner wheel on it. just tighten it up a little and you should be fine but if you think its been slipping then the timing is probably out, and if it is you could f*ck up the engine by cranking it so take out the spark plugs and crank the engine by hand to make sure it's turning smoothly,,,,,,,,,.........,,,,,,,.good luk
