Custom Piping Question
Wsup everyone. I currently have a 5Zigen Fireball muffler on my STOCK piping. It's been on there for about a year now. I plan to get 2.25 inch stainless steel mandrel bent piping from the cat to the muffler, no resonator. Can anyone give me any feedback on the sound difference after the piping is done? I also heard that custom piping could affect the life of the engine. Is this true? Thanks.
Btw, its a 96 civic dx btw. |

getting rid of the resonator will make it alot louder than it is now. but it will kind of sound like a wet fart noise. thats the best I can explain it. I hate the sound. it's too loud without the resonator and sounds like they'rs a hole in the piping.

It sounds good and is a lot louder, plus it isn't very expensive. You should be able to get it done for around $100 depending where you live.
