crx hood fit on a civic?
Hey guys, I'm in need of a new hood, and I know where a black crx is in the junkyard. So would that hood fit my 89 hatch? Or do I have to get one from a hatch?

88-89 fits 88-89 crx and civic hatch, 90-91 fits 90-91 crx and civic hatch.

think we need to put what parts are compatible between the 88-91 civic/ crx/ sedan/ wagovan in the FAQ

how about this, anytime anyone has a question, PM me, I work for honda, i'll just look it up in the parts catalog.
FYI: even from honda civic HB and CRX hoods have the same part number

yeah theres only like 50 thousand parts on a car, I'm sure he could pull that out of his ass in no time.
As for the differnce in the 89 and 90 no idea, I have just been told that they are slightly differnt. I know the fenders are differnt because of the side lights, but the bumpers will interchange so the hood might with a little work (or no work...) I do know for a fact that 88/9 crx/civic interchange and 90/1 interchange

there was hood damage on my car when i bought it... instead of paying 70ish? for a hood, and 80ish? for body/paint, i just bought a CF hood for $240... so much ligher in the front, dont know why you arent thinking of that, unless you are going sleeper mode...
(btw 240 got me the one with that foam stuffing shit under it, so its not hollowed, and doesnt rattle real hard... think you can get the shitty hollow ones for even cheaper)
