transmission leak

I have a 93 GMC Sierra that developed a bad transmission leak. Thought it was the pan gasket - replaced it- but it still appears to be losing fluid. Its dropping on the exhaust pipe especially heavy smoke during rapid accerleration. I'm not sure if its residue from original leak or if it could be leaking from somewhere else.

I had a serious transmission leak AFTER taking it to the dealer for a normal transmission fluid change at 90k miles. Mine was a 95 Sierra 4.3 V6. The problem turned out to be a broken connection where an electrical connection goes into the transmission. After returning to the dealer several times, their transmission man admitted that the technician that changed the fluid must have broken the part. SWEET!!!!! The dealer was now responsible for the $300 part they were going to make me pay for. Sometimes you just luck-out.
