ignition timing

what does my 1990 Bronco with 5.8 engine time at and what is the correct procedure to do this. I know something has to be disconected but can't remember what it is.

best bet would be to get a haynes or chilton, it'll walk ya through it and it has pics. you'll need a timing light also. it should say on the emissions sticker on the engine bay, near the headlights or fan, on that top part.

spout connector at the distributor harness
has to be warm and accessories off
10 degrees before tdc
