E46 325i v new Cougar

Driving home from the movies tongiht, looking for som halfway decent shots, and nothing is presenting itself. Couple of stock Civics, a very angry man in a Suburban, but by 1:30, that was all I had to call for myself, when I hear the tell tale sound of a high performance, HP increasing, highly modified sports exhaust. Or, in other words, a simple X pipe replacement with dual fart cans, on a Cougar, one of the new ones.

He shoots by me, and I shift into third, and offer chase. I flyby, get his attention, and let him pull up next to me. I look over, he looks back, nods, and we go. Hold it in third as long as I can, shift into fourth at 6500, and by now am up about three lengths. He pulls of, I wave, and he turns of at his exit. Nice kill, fun run.

Re: E46 325i v new Cougar

He ran up on me (to the point where I had to swerve so he didnt rear end me) on the highway. SO me, being the testastarone filled ass that I am, swung in behind him, and got to the point to where my brights would shine right into the burb. I then passed him, and he started chassing me, and my buddy was like...wth?

I look in the rear view at this big old burb bearing down on me, click on some bad ass song on my CD, and say, keep up. At this point, my friend was like...Ah damnit all to hell, and just grabbed the 'oh shit' handle. Long story short, after a veiw breif weaves, I was a good five lengths away from him, and we took our exit. As he shot passed us, we threw him the Saudi Salute.

Re: E46 325i v new Cougar

Duplox..LOL, nice. As much as I prefere Euro to domestic, I will say this->I'll push a Ford anyday before I drive a Chevy

93rollaracer, definately not me. My car isn't a show car yet, and the last show I went to was an Import thing not to far from my house in a Lowes parking lot. However, to satisfy your curiosity, the Suburban was west bound on 820 and north bound on 35, and the Cougar was south bound on 377 (all Texas roads, Ft. Worth Metroplex area)
