1989 loose steering column

The steering column in my 89 formula is loose. I think it has to do with the tilt wheel. How can I fix this myself instead of going to a mechanic? Also the the left blinker will not stop when I turn, the cruise control switch doesn't work and I have to hit the lever back hard a few times to dim my highs. They was working fine until the column came loose so I think thats the problem.

i have a 92 and my steering wheel column is loose also i have heard from alot of people that GMs are known for this problem. All you have to do is take apart the stearing wheel column make sure u disconect the airbag if u got it and tighten up the bolts you might have to buy a new kit but its under 100 bucks. I dont know why but my high beems are hard to turn off to im not sure if thats related or not. i just usually dont turn them on just cuz its a pain to flick the think like 5 times to turn them off
