Hey Everyone Im new and with some questions

Well i just bought a 88 crx si for not a bad price but it needs a clutch and i don't have the money to send it to a shop to replace it for me so my questions are
How do i replace the clutch ?

And
What do i need to buy ? ( i looked up a clutch on the net but i saw disk's srpings clutch kit ..And so on )

just buy a clutch from a local auto parts store or a racing clutch online, then get a service book from like autozone that shows u how to do stuff to cars (replace and fix stuff)

go to the FAQ at the top of the forum...u'll find a link to service manuals...u can download them...not all the links work now though...if u can't find what u need in those...then come back and ask

you need

(1 thru 4 normally included in a clutch kit)

1)clutch
2)throwout bearing
3)pressure plate
4)alignment tool
5)would be smart to get your flywheel turned (machined)

its not hard at all to replace the clutch, just kinda time consuming for a newb.

Alignment tool's usually come with a replacement clutch package. handy little tools!

Not hard just time consuming like audi said.
