Question 2002 Sebring Conv. Electrical Problem

Hello, My 2002 Sebring Conv. w/50k miles has had the battery light on for two days. As I was taking it in to get it looked at the radio cycled on and off, I lost the a/c, and finally the car lost all power and stalled. After that it was dead with no power for anything (no lights, ignition). I just had it towed to the shop and they may not be able to look at it for a day or two. I know the battery is a pain to get to and did not have the time to try to charge or replace it.

Any quick ideas on what It might be or any quick fixes i could try before the mechanic takes a look. Thanks in advance for any help. JSK
