Brake Question

i am replacing the back brake pads wit my dad on my 92 teg and we got everything apart and we put everything back together until we ran into a problem we cant compress the caliper to get the new pads in and we got the tool that you are supposed to use and it still wont go in so if you guys know what we are doing wrong please let me know it would greatley be appriciated

you have to turn the back pistons in. the front pistons push in and the back turn. take a pair of needle nose pliers, open them up and stick them in the grooves and turn the piston clockwise. they should go back with almost no effort. do push them back in, it will damage them, and you might have to replace them.

for the tool, u have to turn, not push.
