torn here... need help
My Ford Ranger is on its wits end, and I am looking at 2 cars, a 96 Pontiac Bonneville SSE, with everything but the supercharger, 90k miles, and 5500 bucks, and a 96 Lincoln Continental with the 32v V8, 89k miles, fully loaded, 5300 dollars.
They are both well maintained, with new tires and brakes. They both drive excellent, and are both cars that I really want. I just need some opinions on both of the cars, and what to look out for, including maintenance issues that someone has had. I really cant come up with a decision, and I need to soon, my current vehicle is losing its lungs at an alarming pace. thanks for any input.

Get the Lincoln.
My friends father drives a Pontial Bonneville and he says its the most troublesome car he has ever had, to many useless gadgets, he is going to sell it soon.

depends on what condition they are in. I wouldnt get a bonneville unless it was the SSEI version. I would go for the lincoln. it has class and style.

I am leaning towards the Lincoln... the reliability of that generation continental is quite good, and it looks better than the Bonneville... The lower mileage and price also seal the deal.

Re: torn here... need help
I'm a rebellious person and I usually lean more GM anyway. I would go with the Pontiac just out of personal experience. I've never heard of anyone that drove a Bonneville that had huge trouble but I'm sure you can. I think some specific cars (not models) have problems like that. What it all comes down to is I know Pontiac handling better. Have fun with whichever car you pick.
