Acrylics dangerous?

Are acrylics bad for you? I was just airburshing Tamiya Red and I have this weird feeling in my neck. I had a fan on though and couldn't smell anything. Am I overobsessing or should I take extra caution?

Nah Acrylic are Alcool based at worst. so if you can't stand a beer, maybe your head will hurt with acrylic paint.. Btw, a mask can help just to not have paint in the noze (who never found strange color when blowing his noze )

Actually since I work with metal a lot I get so much metal dust up my nose its unbelieveable.

BTW, when wearing a mask dont burp while its on. I learned the hard way.

Well, I went and ate garlicy Italian. Then stopped somewhere on the way home and caught up with some friends that were going to another restraunt. I decided to join them. I had a shitload of onion rings and country fried steak. Not to mention a bunch of coke. Then went home to finish up some paint, but on the mask, burped.

Re: Acrylics dangerous?

What, did it keep that inside the mask?

That's great!

Re: Acrylics dangerous?

I would get a little move ventilation. isopropyl alcohol is not the same as the alcohol in beer.

Re: Acrylics dangerous?

Depends on a number of factors, including what type of thinners you used. Even if everything is completely non-toxic getting a load of dust up you nose and in your lungs ain’t going to be a good thing. Get a respirator.

Almost TMI there dude!

But when the offensive food digested a bit more, I'm sure you were ready to wear that mask again...
