Re: when watching movies...

Hmm...

How big is your hard drive? And how full is it?
Do you have 56k or cable?
Do you have Divx Codec?

Do you have, and use Ad-aware 6.0 with the updated version, and/or Spybot - Search and Destroy?

How often do you do a defrag? When was the last time you did a defrag?
What version of windows are you using?
Do you update it? If so, how often, of not, have you ever?

Your Computer: What RAM have you got? CPU speed? P4? P3 (P=Pentium) Celeron? Mac?

If you can answer all of those for me, we can do a process of ellimination, and we might find your problem.

*ED* What are you using to play the movies? Windows Media Player? Kazaa Theater? Real Video Player? Something else? What version is it?
Do you have any downloaded codec installed?

Re: when watching movies...

Is it streaming videos you have problems with, or movies that you've downloaded already and are watching later?

Re: when watching movies...

Check how much free hard drive space you have. If there's not much left, your computer might be having a hard time loading everything in advance.

If you don't have much room left, get rid of as much crap as you can and run defrag as mentioned above.

If you don't know how to find particular system info, let us know and I'm sure one of us can walk you thru it
