G20 Spec V?

Hey wondering if any of you guys have any info on the engine Nissan put into the US sentra se-r spec V? I was day dreamin in class about a transplant once people start totaling spec v's. I also like the rims they come with 17 incher wanted to know if they had the same bolt pattern?

sorry ment to post the engine stuff on the other fourm, but the Rims still wanna know if those would fit.

I wouldnt bother (even if you COULD find the motor and swap it) a VE or DET would give you way more power.

A DET or VE swap would net more power, bolts into the stock location, simpler, and would be cheaper. Personaly I would go with a Blue Bird DET swap.

The rims have the same bolt pattern, just a slightly different offset. I photoshopped the wheels onto my G20. Here are two different pictures, one makes them look the same as 16" rims, the other i increased the size of the Spec V rims.

It would be a real bitch to swap in a QR25DE. It has a fly-by-wire throttle, probably a totally different wiring harness and a bunch of other things I don't know about.

Like everyone else is saying a VE or DET swap would get more power and be easier.

But hey, if you really want a QR25DE in your G don't let us stop you.
