Toyota V6

i was just wondering if anyone knew how much more power a six cylinder toyota motor is going to have over a four. i am looking to buy a older toyota pickup with a six cylinder but everyone seems to be excited about the 22r. i am a v8 chevy guy so i gravitate toward the V6. But is the 22r better?

well the 22RE has 142 on dyno and the 22R has about 96??? on dyno and the V6 has somewhere in the 160's on dyno..Modding the 22R/RE will be easier and more complex than modding the v6...You can take a look at Lcengineering.com for alot of parts you will need.Gas milage on the V6 is about 15 city and 19 highway realiability Hey its a toyota and they are goood for EVER haha
