Liable?

LAWYERS WANTED!

If i were to, say, tear off my body panels, exposing the frame, and weld spikes to the bumper, make my car a general hazard, would i be liable for injuries incurred while parked?
I mean, say a kid trips off a curb downtown and stumbles onto a car. If the car is new, the worst he can do is bump his head on a corner. No judge in the world would hold the vehicle owner responcible. But if that car were aged and missing panels, with exposed metal edges and spikes welded to the rear fenders, that little kid could end up in the ER with massive bleeding. It's like parking a junkyard in a playground, its dangerous. But would the owner actually be liable? Could the parents sue for thier child falling on a parked car in a public (or private) lot?

Wierd question, I know, but lets just say i have some very unique plans for my next car....

Wow that’s a weird question. I think it is defiantly possible you could get sued because think of all the dumb ass things people sue McDonalds, Starbucks etc for. I burnt my tongue on a pickle there’s 5 million from McDonalds. Or the person who got burnt by the spilt coffee from Starbucks. So it is could be possible depending on the judge.

If you can attempt to sue Mcdonalds for you being fat, then I'd say anything is a possibility. Not to spark any political debates...but i think a reform is necessary.

I doubt you could even get away with driving on the streets like that though.
