Assh&*^ at work.

Why is it everywhere I've worked. There is always one guy with a bad attitude, a big mouth, and he's an assh*^% to boot??? I work at a large warehouse. We make food products for several major retail stores throughout the U.S. Walmart, Publix, Winndixie, ect. This guy drives a forklift. He delivers all the things we need to make the products we sell. I make one small error in judgement, he would've had to stay an extra 10-12 min. Yes, it was my mistake. But, he flipped out. Saying" What the fu^& is your problem, you need to get your sh*& together, ect." I'm not the smartest man in the world. But, doesn't he work at the same place I do?? I had to restrain, every fiber in my being said, punch this motherfu$%# in his eye!!!! But, it would not do me much good. Considering I'm 5'9" 195, he's 6'1" 220-230. I've had that problem all my life. Bigger guys always want to start problems. Then I go into the lockeroom to change. I'm taking a piss, I hear his big fuc&*%@ mouth saying how stupid I am as he walks out the door(to another employee.) But, he never said a word to me after that day. Sorry, just venting about all the assh&*^% I work with.

Re: Assh&*^ at work.

You should have given him shit right back. Who cares if he hits you- he hits you and he's fired for sure.

Re: Assh&*^ at work.

Just don't hit him first or try to convince him to hit you. In most jurisdictions he would get off and you would go to jail

Re: Re: Assh&*^ at work.

speak to your supervisor, and have him wrote up for creating a hostile work enviroment. if they don't, you threaten to report them. most companies nowadays dont tolerate that one bit. due to the negativity of it.

Re: Assh&*^ at work.

Talking to a supervisor about this would be a good idea. Do not let him continue on with this kind of childish behaviour, it has no place in a working environment. Not only is he harassing you, he is posing a threat to renew his actions to another employee.

Re: Assh&*^ at work.

Thanks all, yes it's true. I could report him. But, he's worked there for a year and a half, me 8 months. So I don't know if it would do me a bit of good. The only good thing is I have a different position, and I don't have to deal with him one bit.

If he's done it to you, then he has or will do it to another. Evryone faces situations differently. What if it heppens again with a nother noob and the noob punches him, the noob gets fired and charged because of his temper....not very fair now is it

Re: Assh&*^ at work.

Report that bastard! They CAN NOT legally fire you for reporting it.The other guy would have to prove you a) broke the law in some way, b) violated a company policy, c) cause a hazard that could phyically endanger your co workers (ie removing governer from forklift and speeding around warehouse ) before they could let you go without the fear of reprocissions

No, not fair. It was my fault. But, he fuck^%$ overreacted big time. Will it happen again with me or someone else?? I don't know. If someone punched him, I'd probably laugh my ass off!!!! I won't let it happen again. He has not said another word to me since. I'm glad, because I'm reaching the end of my rope so to speak. As I get older, I have less of a tolerence for stupidity or assholelike behaviour. But, everyone has to make a living, pay bills ,ect. I found out today I get to move to a different position. I don't have to talk to him unless it's essential. I see him all the time. But, he does not say a damn thing to me. So we will see. Thanks for the input.

If I was as big as you, I'd catch him outside of work. I'd manhandle that bitch, pull down his pants and whip his ass with my belt!!!!! But, all I can say is "if."

That I will, I hope it was a one time deal. But he's still a dickhead. You guy's ever heard of the Bob and Tom show??? They have a radio station in Indy where I live. They have a song or two about guys like that. I won't leave the link, because I know how the mods feel about it. But if anyone wants it, P.M me cause they are syndicated in like 25-30 states.

LOL, thanks for the offer, I'm thinking everything will be back to normal. I have a chance to move to a different position. I won't have to deal with him at all.
