Re: vibration

What kind of vibration were you getting that was caused by a ball joint and weak tie rod?
Was it a steering wheel vibration or did you feel it in the seat?

I'm having the same type of problem with my 02 astro van, I don't feel the vibration in the steering wheel but I do feel it in the seat.

As far as a vibration while braking, you should check the rotors for warping, I had this problem twice and it was a warped rotor.
