color question??

what is this color :
x-21 flat base from tamiya acrylic paint
for what is intended?

It's used to flatten gloss colors. You mix some of it in for example x-1 black to make your own semi-gloss. Just take it really careful. Start with x-21/x-(?) 1/10 or something. When using to much of the flat base you end up with a frosted look.

It's not a color, it's used to make the shiny paints more or less flat. You put in a tiny amount to make a specific color anything from semi-flat to dead-flat. Don't add to much as you will get this white haze in the color.
