Red face MAF Sensor

i tried removing the MAF screen like everyone says to, and it wont remove. I tapped at the edges from the inside, being careful not to hit the sensing elements, and it just cracked the screen. Pushing on it with my fingers also made it crack. It wasnt even close to coming out of there. I dont want to buy a Granatelli MAF sensor so if someone has suggestions that would be cool.

Some come out easy, some don't. I put a stubborn MAF in a vise and GENTLEY tapped around the edges with a hammer and a flat blade screwdriver. The screen will probably be shot after this but that's the way it goes. Don't be intimidated!
