More CAI help

I just got my AEM cold air system, it's in and everything is running fine, but just one question. There is one hole in the intake tube on the end closer to the manifold. The instructions said there's an extra step for the VTEC model (which i have). I pulled the vacuum tube that went to the resonator and plugged it like it said to do. However I still have an extra hole, and no lose wires. Am I supposed to pull more tubes off from somewhere and attach them to the hole near the intake? If anyone has pictures it would be a great help.

Re: More CAI help

No, that's not the hole I'm talking about. I already connected that. There's a hole, not a nozzle, that is further up then the one you're talking about. It's closer to the manifold. I have an extra rubber gromet and nozzle type thing that i think is supposed to go there.

Re: More CAI help

Alright, that's what I was thinking. Next time I take pictures of my car I'll but some close ups of the thing up and ask again.

Re: More CAI help

I have that on my H23 CAI too. You put the rubber grommet in the hole, then there should be a 2 sided little plastic connecter thing. Put one side in the hole, and the other you connect to the vacuum tube from the manifold that went on the top of the stock intake, not the long tube that goes to the resonator. Hope you figure it out.

Re: More CAI help

yes, if the hole is on the intake manifold the AEM cold air intakes come with a plug that you put over the hole
