ford probe price

how much did you get your ford probe for?? what kind engines does this car have what can you put in it??? do these cars last a long time???

I bought my 2nd gen Probe GT brand new back in 93 for $16,000. It's got 139,000 miles and still runs strong.
A good used one shouldn't cost more that $5,000 depending on age, mods and model.
If you take care of it, it can last a long time. There are some people with over 200,000 miles on theirs and they still race them.

Mods are not as readly available has Honda mods, but there are a few.
Over on ProbeTalk.com they have alot of do it yourself mods and vendors that specialize in Probes.

All in all, I love my Probe GT and when the engine goes, I will get one of the Japanese V6's that are a direct swap and start with 200hp, before mods.

ive been told that the gts only last about 150000 miles and mine blew up at 153000 miles if that helps
