Anyone miss the remote windows from the 4th gen since you bought the 5th gen?

I miss those cool remote windows soooo badly. They were great in the summer for a quick cool down. Hope someone knows of a way to install this unit into the 5th gen. (meaning the transmitter, receiver and control unit)

I didnt know my car had it until i wasnt paying attention and the windows were rolled down after holding the unlock key.

Hrmm.. what generation is what? I have a 1997 SE and I hit the unlock button and held it and the only window that rolled down was the drivers window.

Are they all supposed to roll down?

Ok.. actually the two front windows went down. So I guess this is the norm.

It was not offered as an option on the 5th gen Maximas and I believe this was a mistake. This was a feature that was luxo car like and I truely miss it. It was really cool to see the reactions of people as the windows would roll down by themselves, or what appeared to be by themselves.

Do the doors lock automatically in 4th gens when you go over a certain speed? They do in my wife's Dodge, but not in 5th gens.....

HAHA I've used the feature twice and always forget about it, but I'm going to try to start using it now.

Also, no 4th gens don't auto lock, but my clifford alarm locks them once I start the car (only if all the doors are closed).

hmmm... my mother is looking at getting one of the 5th gens... and I agree that it is a shame that they dont have the remote windows. I LOVE those things i use them every day after work in the summer in my 97 Max

it came back in '02, the 3.5 5th gen's have it, and i love it
