Angry No Belts!!!

I am working on my project supra, and things went horribly. The bearings on the water pump went out(just my luck) and the belt that was driving it tore, so now i dont have a belt on that, my power steering or ac. I am going into a depression right about now. The engine runs alright(ignoring the smoke). I NEED TO GET THIS THING TO A SHOP A.S.A.P. , HOW FAR CAN I DRIVE HER WITHOUT DAMAGING MY CAR ANYMORE~??~?~?~ PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

Re: No Belts!!!

Ehh, you've been running the car with no water pump? Since it's a 5M your not as prone to the BHG which a 7m would have gotten already from you doing that, but it's still possable. Don't run or drive the car anymore, have it towed to a shop if your going to pay someone to do the same thing you could do. Changing the water pump on M engines is easy, shouldn't take more than an hour with lots of breaks. A Chiltons or Haynes manual will tell you exactly what to do, or go to http://www.celicasupra.com/phpBB2/

Re: No Belts!!!

You said grey smoke in the other post? Is it only grey or is it more of a blue, or is it more of a white. If you didn't know blue is burning oil, white is burning coolant, and black is too much fuel. What does the smoke smell like (don't inhale it directly )?
