But you drive a 89' Park Avenue. Why in gods name would you want to try and increase acceleration on that? So you can beat the explorer to your exit in the other lane? Well in that case a couple things you can do....buy brake pads from autozone or wherever and then install them, so next time you wanna beat some body act like your gonna try to get in front of them.....then hit those new brakes and get behind them. I know......i know......its profound......please..........hold the applause...........

Re: acceleration mods?

Youd be better off not acting like a complete fuckhead and asking in the specific car's forum.

to tell u the truth, no car in particular, but i am leaning a bit towards a maxima. However, why must it matter? im jus askin like basics, not the specific mod designed for the specific car. But if u want to , then ya a specific acceleration mod would b good.

there's too many mods to list as far as what you can do. Hell i could sit here and name a 1,000. Everything from a supercharger to tire size can increase acceleration. Maybe powershifting? Hell take the backseats out, there's alot.

Sometimes there is too much hostility towards the newcomers. Answer the question or ask for more info....simple aint it?
Nice document JeckylandHyde, I'm sure reading through that should give him some sort of idea's. But make sure that your tires can grip the road or else all the HP numbers are useless

Re: acceleration mods?

Well for a turbo car. aluminum innercooler pipes make for a quicker spool. Id say an intake system of some kind works wonders as well.
